Spouses and civil partners must provide a marriage certificate or civil partnership certificate.
Children under 18 must provide a birth certificate or adoption order, a letter of consent, and proof of full responsibility for the child via a court order.
How long can you stay in Ireland on a non-EEA or Swiss national visa?
You must apply for a long-stay “D” visa, which allows you to stay in Ireland for as long as the visa is valid.
